The 13th Annual Beaujolais Festival takes place on Friday, November 17th, 2006 at the Rhode Island Convention Center from 7 to 11pm. On a bistro theme, the evening is a celebration of wine, food, and French music and culture with an expected attendance of 500 people. Tickets are $75 each, and include wine-tasting, delicious French food, live music, and a silent auction and raffle.

This year we are proud to present French acoustic guitarist and songwriter, Bertrand Laurence. He will be presenting Manège à Trois who will perform music born in the streets of Paris, Musette. Despite a strong penchant for waltzes, an Italian melodic flair, and the occasional "Spanish Tinge", Musette remains a typically Parisian phenomenon. But in the 30's, Musette embraced the influence of American swing. So, in the harmonious spirit of diversity, the Trio will also present a Franco-American set of Swing waltzes, Blues, Ragtime, and some American standards in French and vice versa.... Manège à Trois is made up of Bertrand Laurence on guitar and vocals, the delightful Suzi Lee on accordion, and the stellar Marc Chênevert on clarinet.
